In 2022 maakte het Duitse Silverlane een soort doorstart met het album III: Inside Internal Infinity. Van de oorspronkelijke bezetting uit 2010 waren basssist Daniel Saffer en de gitaristen Uli Holzermer en Chris Alexander nog over. Met Tom Klossek als zanger en Basti Kirchdörfer op drums was Silverlane weer compleet en kwam ijzersterk terug.
Vandaag bracht de band de nieuwe single Never Let Me Down Again uit.
Dragony mag in Nederland nog wel wat aandacht krijgen. De band heeft een deal met Steamhammer/ SPV en brengt op 11 oktober het nieuwe album Hic Svnt Dracones uit. Bereid je voor op een fijne portie powermetal met de nieuwe single Beyond The Rainbow Bridge.
Wanneer we toch in het powermetalgenre beland zijn dan mag het nieuwe werk van Powerwolf natuurlijk niet ontbreken. Deze band uit de stal van Napalm Records komt vandaag met het nieuwe album Wake Up The Wicked. Of de muziek op het nieuwe schijfje erg verrassend is, zul je zelf mogen ervaren. We Don’t Wanna Be No Saints biedt je alvast een voorproefje.

Michael Schenker grijpt dit jaar aan om zijn jaren bij UFO eens dunnetjes over te doen. Op het album My Years With UFO, dat op 20 september uitkomt, geeft hij je elf composities uit die tijd.
Michael wordt daar bijgestaan door Derek Sherinian op toetsen, Brian Tichy op de drums, en Barry Sparks op de basgitaar. De lijst met gastartiesten luidt verder: Axl Rose, Slash, Kai Hansen, Roger Glover, Joey Tempest, Biff Byford, Jeff Scott Soto, John Norum, Dee Snider, Joel Hoekstra, Joe Lynn Turner, Carmine Appice, Adrian Vandenberg, Michael Voss, Stephen Pearcy, en Erik Grönwall.
