Bridges Ablaze
Bridges Ablaze bestaat uit Brien Allen en Ruben Zamora. Een duo dat elkaar vond in Guitar Center. Ze herkenden in elkaar een bijzonder talent en dat leidde tot de oprichting van Bridges Ablaze in 2019. Laat je verrassen door de live-registratie van Apocalypse. En meteen maar even de single Heartless.
Shakra
Deze band behoeft eigenlijk geen introductie. De Zwitserse band heeft zojuist de nieuwe video bij Burning Heart online gezet.
“Burning Heart” is a special track that was originally recorded during the sessions for the “Invincible” album. The session files were lost for years and rediscovered by accident during the band’s 30th anniversary preparations. The track is now the first official release on Frontiers Music.”
The band : “We had written it off – lost in the digital void. And then suddenly it reappeared, as if the message was meant to manifest itself”.
Zanger Mark Fox voegt daaraan toe: “All my life, people have tried in different ways to separate me from what I do with all my heart and soul: making music. But no one has succeeded – and no one ever will”.

Raven Black
Het duurt nog even, want pas op 2 september zal Raven Black het nieuwe album Black Sonata uitbrengen. De nieuwe single Burn laat een volgend hoofdstuk zien van de gothic metal opera.
Icefish
Het progressieve metalcollectief Icefish laat in stukken zien hoe ze het album Human Hardware hebben opgenomen. Een leuk inkijkje bij het werk van een band.
Ominous Ruin
Extreme dingen uit de VS kennen we wel. Ook Ominous Ruin hoort in het rijtje, maar dan wel aan de positieve kant. Staring Into The Abysm heet de nieuwe single en is naast de vorige single Seeds Of Entropy te vinden op het album Requiem dat 9 mei uitkomt en waarop nieuwe zangeres Crystal Rose te horen is
Over de single zegt de band:
“‘Staring Into The Abysm’ fires out of the gate with a fierce yet melodic guitar lead that plays upon the motif of the entire song. Quickly after the intro, Ominous Ruin embraces its technicality with furious drums and riffs, shortly followed by an astounding bass solo from bassist, Mitch Yoesle, immediately followed by a guitar solo from guitarist, Joel Guernsey. The theme of the song reappears as a quick clean guitar break, followed by another dizzying solo by main guitarist, Alex Bacey. As the song comes to an end, it fades back into the dark, dissonant clean guitar thematic riff. Heavy with effects, the ending further sonically represents the inevitable slip into empty nothingness, as entropy consumes reality, both physical and mental form, teasing the transition into the final song of the album.”

Feelingless
Feelingless is het project van Hugo Markaida. Voor de nieuwe single Dare To Survive is hij de samenwerking aangegaan met Kevin Cali en Fernando Di Cicco van Dreamshade. Het geluid van Feelinsless is een mix van scherpe metalcore met melodische deathmetalinvloeden.
