Zeven video's die graag wat aandacht willen

Op deze druilerige zondag is het fijn om even wat om handen te hebben. Deze zeven video’s bieden je dit. Van oud tot nieuw vanuit diverse genres is er altijd wel wat bij voor je.
Loathe
Loathe staat aan de vooravond van de release van het album I Let It In And It Took Everything. 7 februari zal dit album door Sharptone Recrds p de markt worden gebracht. Van het album is nu een video verschenen bij de single Two Way Mirror.
Over Two Way Mirrors zegt de band: “It was our intention throughout the creative process to push the Loathe lore into different territories, some previously explored and some almost brand new for the band. With that mindset we birthed Two-Way Mirror – one of the many faces throughout ‘I Let It In And It Took Everything’“.

Imminence
Met het album Turn The Light On liet Imminence een krachtig geluid horen. Ze hebben nu ook een akoestische versie ervan uitgebracht. Hiervan komt deze video van Disconnect

The lyrical theme of the record is inner conflict, self doubt, depression and self destruction. Music has always been, and now more than ever, an outlet and a way for me to cope with these emotions. Heaven Shall Burn
Heaven Shall Burn komt dit jaar met nieuw werk in de vorm van een dubbelalbum Of Truth And Sacrifice. Van dit album zijn niet één, maar twee video’s online gezet. Protector komt van de eerste cd (Of Truth…) en Weakness Leaving My Heart is van album twee (..Of Sacrifice). Je zult nog wel even geduld moeten hebben want 20 maart is de release pas gepland.
Gitarist Maik Weichert legt uit: “In order to reflect the concept of the double album we decided to produce a ‘double video’ which turned into a real mammoth project. ‘Protector’ is taken from album one (“of Truth”) while ‘Weakness Leaving My Heart’ is part of album two (‘of Sacrifice’). While ‘Protector’ represents confidence and a readiness for action ‘Weakness Leaving My Heart’ is contemplative and deals with the sacrifices and losses that truth may cost. Something you should also feel from the different vibes of the songs. The double album is giving you the essence of what HSB is about and there is lots to explore.”

Sylosis
Eerder liet Sylosis de video van I Severe al op ons los. Het is afkomstig van het vijfde album Cycle Of Suffering dat 7 februari uitgebracht zal worden. Deze week heeft de band ook de tweede single van een video voorzien. Het betreft hier de compositie Calcified.

Gentihaa
Zwaar en diep stort Gentihaa de video van Alpha over je heen. Alpha komt van het debuutalbum Reverse Entropy. Gentihaa heeft ondertussen al twee keer als voorprogramma gespeeld voor Dimmu Borgir in september 2019.

Head Of Clay
De leden van Head Of Clay hebben al de nodige ervaring in de metal-/rockwereld. Samen vormen ze nu Head Of Clay waarin ze hun voorliefde voor stevige rockmuziek met krachtige melodieën kunnen delen. Ze zijn daarbij beïnvloed door Soundgarden, Deep Purple en The Tea Party. Terwijl ze hard aan het werk zijn aan de debuut-EP kun je alvast kennis maken met de band met de video van Where We Used To Be. Een ‘ballad’ van het zuivere soort.

Silent Winter
Het album The Circles Of Hell van Silent Winter is al enige tijd uit via het Griekse label Sonic Age Records. De band die al sinds de jaren negentig opereert vanuit Griekenland en hebben nu een video geplaatst bij het titelnummer. Bereid je voor op lekkere rock met invloeden vanuit de thrashmetal en van Judas Priest.
