BLACK STONE CHERRY deelt nog een voorproefje van hun achtste studio- album ‘Screamin’ At The Sky’, met de release van het titelnummer en een lyricvideo.
‘Screamin’ At The Sky’ komt uit op 29 september op Mascot Records. Het album is beschikbaar op wit vinyl, een limited edition deluxe vinyl boxset, CD en digitaal. Pre-order hier.
BSC-frontman/gitarist Chris Robertson licht het openingsnummer van het nieuwe album als volgt toe:
“Much like most BSC songs, the music was written first and it set the tempo. We envisioned standing around a bonfire and just letting go of everything, throwing your problems into the cosmos and letting them be what they are. It starts the album off exactly how we wanted, right off the bat, in your face.”
Afgelopen week brachten de Knoxville rockers van 10 Years hun nieuwe nummer ‘I Remember’ uit op Mascot Records.
Gitarist Brian Vodinh deelt, “’I Remember’ is about looking back at our youth and remembering how it felt like we had our entire lives in front of us. How we were full of hope and ambition and kind of clueless to how harsh the real world is. It’s about remembering how we used to always look at the bright side and weren’t so beaten up by life.”
De release volgt op de track “The Optimist”, die sinds release al meer dan NEGEN MILJOEN keer is gestreamd. “The Optimist” kwam uit op het moment dat de band afgelopen september hun Europese tour startte met Three Days Grace en het was meteen een publieksfavoriet met tal aan fans die het nummer luidkeels meezongen.
“I Remember” is slechts de tweede track release sinds de band hun album Violent Allies uitbracht in 2020. Sinds de release van dat album is de band op tour geweest met bands als Three Days Grace, Seether, Theory of a Deadman en Crobot en hebben ze op tal van festivals gestaan inclusief Inkcarceration Festival, Shiprocked and Blue Ridge Rock Festival.
