Bleed From Within
Op 4 april brengt Bleed From Within het nieuwe album Zenith uit. Met de nieuwe single God Complex krijg je nog een laatste keer een voorproefje van wat je mag verwachten.
“God Complex is the anthem on Zenith. We had a great time putting this together; not over thinking it and letting the groove carry the song. The song always stood out, but Kennedys vocal performance really pushed it to the forefront of the album. It’s a song about ego and what it means to us, to you, to everyone. This industry is plagued by those who have a heightened version of themselves but even in every day life, it is clear to see those that put themselves above others.”

Super Monster Party
Terug naar de jaren tachtig met de synthwavemetalband Super Monster Party. Geïnspireerd door de Sega videogame krijg je een vrolijke noot voorgespiegeld in de single Nights Into Dreams. Rei Sega (zanger) zegt over de single:
“I wrote this song to capture the essence of the game, Nights Into Dreams — a realm where the magic of flight, matches the pulse of the joystick, and every riff powers you through a level of chaos and triumph.
XSKULL8
In een wereld vol ruis, levert XSKULL8 een boodschap die niet kan worden overstemd. Hun nieuwste single, Voices Out Of Silence, is een krachtige hymne die verteld van de chaos, het conflict en de veerkracht van de menselijke geest.
De productie van het nummer brengt een vorm van agressie, waarbij precisie in evenwicht is met rauwe, ongefilterde emotie. De tekst vertelt een aangrijpend verhaal over door oorlog verscheurde landschappen en verwoeste levens, perfect vastgelegd in het spookachtige refrein: “We’re the voices out of silence / Caught in the waves of violence.” Dit is meer dan muziek: het is een weerspiegeling van de donkerste realiteiten ter wereld, gebracht met onverbiddelijke kracht.
Graham Reynolds
Het nieuwe album Mountain verschijnt op 21 maart. Graham Reynolds zegt over het album:
“This album is personal. It starts with Monadnock, the first mountain I ever climbed, up in New England. The first side ends with Enchanted Rock, the first mountain I climbed in my adopted state of Texas. And, though I’ve been releasing music for my whole adult life, this is the first time I’ve had real label support for something of my own, unattached to a film or other media. So, in a way, oddly, it’s my first real solo album”
