De rocklegende Papa Roach bestaat bijna 25 jaar en weet met Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark) een twaalfde nummer 1-notering te bereiken in de VS.
Leaving A Light On is één van de favoriete composities van de band zelf en was voor het eerst live te horen tijdens de The Revolutions Live Tour waar 250.000 mensen op af kwamen. Het nummer werd gecomplementeerd met een een emotionele video van Jacoby Shaddix waarin hij aangeeft dat Papa Roach geld doneert aan de American Foundation For Suicide Prevention (AFSP) en wist zo in totaal 155.000 dollar bij elkaar te brengen aan het eind van de tour in Denver. De single Leave A Light On kreeg de tekst Talk Away The Dark erbij corresponderend met de AFSP-campagne.

Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark) is afkomstig van het tiende studioalbum Ego Trip dat in april 2022 uitkwam en reeds 260 miljoen streams wist te behalen. Papa Rpach is van plan om een wereldtour te plannen voor 2025-2026 waarbij het vijfde lustrum gevierd mag worden.
Shaddix: “We have a lot in store for fans next year. We will be celebrating that occasion and more with a few surprises thrown in.”
