20 Watt Tombstone
Death blues duo 20 WATT TOMBSTONE hebben een video bij Midnight Train To Memphis online gezet, dat afkomstig is van hun album The Year Of the Jacklope.
“We were unbelievably flattered that Jeff Hamilton wanted to work with us. I was a big fan of the Violent Femmes. I think he killed the track for this. Unfortunately due to covid and no touring we lacked the funds to shoot a proper video. We decided to try and shoot the video for this ourselves in my basement. We had some help with edits, but we shot the whole thing ourselves with gopros and for a first time effort we are pretty pleased. We are really excited to share it with people, the response has been alot better than we anticipated!”
Holding Absence
Het tweede album The Greatest Mistake Of My Life van Holding Absence komt op 16 april uit. De tweede single Afterlife is van een video voorzien.
Frontman Lucas Woodland vertelt daarover “We truly believe this song to be one of our best yet, with its pounding chorus and emotive vocals. Just listening to this song is making us itch for the return of live music so we can get out and play it to you all!. With this song released, we’re one step closer to releasing our sophomore album “The Greatest Mistake Of My Life” and we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”.
Culture Of Digital Elegance
Words is de vierde single die Culture Of Digital Elegance (C.O.D.E.) lanceert. Alle vier de singles zullen op het nieuwe album No Excuses te vinden zijn. C.O.D.E. is een rockformatie uit Athene die sinds 2008 aanstekelijke poprock maken.
“The title “Words” refers to the words we say or don’t say and lead to the rupture of human relationships. With a meaning more relevant than ever, in the midst of a global pandemic and the difficulties of the everyday life and how much these two affect our communication. The lyric video, expresses exactly this difficulty, but also the effort, to get closer to each other.”
Valfreya

Nog meer femalefronted rock/metal met Valfreya, de band rond zangeres Corinnen Cardinal. Met Valfreya combineert ze symfonische en klassieke orkestrale muziek met de authentieke Celticfolk. Daar bovenop stampen ze nog een fikse portie agressieve en energieke death- en blackmetalelementen. De band heeft inmiddels vier album op de markt gebracht en werkt momenteel aan de vijfde die pas aan het eind van 2021 of het begin van 2022 uitgebracht zal worden.
The Survival Code
The Survival Code is opgericht in Londen in 2012 en heeft na diverse bezettingen de vorm aangenomen van een duo, Gary McGuinness en Simon Hartop.
Het duo is druk aan het schrijven van nieuw materiaal en lanceren nu een video bij Magnetic. Het is de vierde en laatste single van hun EP Crosses To Carry, Coffins To Fill.

A Killer’s Confession
Voormalig Mushroomheadzanger Waylon Reavis heeft met A Killer’s Confession de nieuwe single Remember uitgebracht. Remember is afkomstig van het derde album dat later dit jaar uit zal komen. Naast Waylon bevat A Killer’s Confession de leden Morgan Bauer, JP Cross en Tommy Church. Het debuutalbum kwam in 2017 uit via EMP Group en op de eerste single verleende Korn gitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch zijn bijdrage. Tegenwoordig opereert de band onder de vleugels van Wake Up! Music Group.
Over de single zegt Waylon: Sometimes in life, people are quick to forget the good and the bad. We all need to be reminded from time to time where the line in the sand is truly drawn.”
Selkies
Selkies is een heerlijke Nederlandse rock/metalband die metal en rap combineert. Bij de Grote Prijs van Twente heeft de band studiotijd gewonnen en heeft die gelegenheid gegrepen om Punishment Of Prometheus op te nemen.
De video is door de band zelf geproduceerd en daar zijn ze terecht trots op.
Amoriello
Dear Dark is het tweede prodcut van het project Amoriello. Het is de opvolger van het debuut in 2018. Dear Dark is een EP die geschreven is in de traditionele heavymetalsetting en zal fans van Judas Priest, Queensrÿche, King Diamon, Helloween en Savatage kunnen bekoren. Carlos Zema (Immortal Guardian) verzorgt de zangpartijen.
En dan is het tijd voor romantiek met een akoestische versie van Never Fear The Pain van Vlad In Tears……
