The Pineapple Thief: nieuwe single en vervolg Dissolution tour in 2019

De Britse progband The Pineapple Thief laat ons weten dat Uncovering Your Tracks hun nieuwe single is van het album Dissolution. De bijbehorende video vind je onder dit nieuwsbericht. Bandleider Bruce Soord meldt het volgende over dit nummer:
“In line with the concept of the album, this song is about addiction – specifically to being connected. Sharing everything you do, no matter how inane. And the constant desire to feel a rush from watching everything you share crawl it’s way around and an even bigger rush when it brings something back to you. In this case, what comes back isn’t good and ultimately leads to your undoing.”
De groep heeft het eerste deel van hun tour zojuist afgerond, met als hoogtepunt een optreden in de O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Nogmaals Bruce Soord over het eerste deel van de tour:
“Our first Dissolution tour went so well, and we had such a great time so we’ve decided to do it again. This time visiting some of the cities we couldn’t make the first time around. I know there are a lot of people disappointed we are not coming to their neck of the woods, but we hear you all and are definitely working on it!”
Op 21 februari 2019 begint het tweede deel van de tour ter promotie van het album Dissolution (lees onze review hier). Het volledige tourschema kan je hieronder lezen. Op 1 maart 2019 treedt de band op in De Boerderij in Zoetermeer. Meer info over dat optreden vind je hier.
