Papa Roach
Wanneer er één band is die altijd een feestje weet te bouwen is het wel Papa Roach. Na het goede album Who Do You Trust? kreeg de liefhebber afgelopen jaar nog een verzamelalbum om aan de collectie toe te voegen. Nu is de band terug met nieuwe muziek in de vorm van de single Kill The Noise

Eyes Wide Open
Het Zweedse viertal van Eyes Wide Open heeft afgelopen week de nieuwe hit End Of Days uitgebracht. Een single die afkomstig is van het komende album Throught Life And Death dat gepland staat voor 12 november en door Arising Empire zal worden uitgebracht.

Hypocrisy 
Via grote broer/zus Nuclear Blast Records komt Hypocrisy voor het eerst in acht jaar met het nieuwe album Worship waarop ze in elf nieuwe composities laten horen waarom ze nog altijd van belang zijn. De eerste single Chemical Whore zal je dat doen beseffen.
Peter Tägtgren: “We’ve been recording this album here and there for 2 years and now it’s done! Maybe it was waiting for the right time as some songs are even more real now than a couple of years ago. Thank you all for your waiting. We’re really excited to officially announce we’re back!”

Our Hollow Our Home 
Metalcoreband Our Hollow Our Home bracht afgelopen jaar het album Burn In The Flood uit en hebben bij de single Monarch een video online gezet.

Catalysis 
Catalysis speelt een goede portie thrash-/groovemetal en brengen op 17 september de EP Relicta uit. Hierop zijn zes composities te vinden die gemixed zijn door Mendel by de Leij (ex-Aborted). Met A New Way To Die zetten ze zichzelf weer eens even voor het voetlicht.

Black And Damned
Black And Damned presenteert de nieuwe video bij The Wardress. Het is afkomstig van het debuutalbum Heavenly Creatures dat afgelopen jaar door ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records is uitgebracht.

Stepfather Fred
Geen van de leden van de band heet daadwerkelijk Fred, dus waar de naam vandaan komt is een raadsel. Het kwartet uit Duitsland zal het een worst zijn en brengen eind oktober het nieuwe album Like The Sea uit via El Puerto Records. Na de single If She Falls is er nu de video bij de single Numb.

Breathing Theory
Een bijzonder geluid laat Breathing Theory horen. De hardrock-/metalband uit Florida toont dat met de video bij de laatste single Replica.
“Sahaj Ticotin from RA is literally our guru,” zegt voorman Cory Britt. “He’s a mad scientist of music, if you will. We talked about the direction for the new music and what vibe we wanted to express. Creating ‘Replicas’ was like magic happening in front of us. We were like YES as he took our pieces and connected it with his. So fun, jamming this song and writing together. He’s definitely our favorite guy to work with when it comes to writing.”
De video is gemaakt door Wombat Fire(Five Finger Death Punch, A Killer’s Confession, Hellyeah, Static X).
“Working with Wombat Fire was amazing,” volgens Britt. “He took every idea I had to convey the story of ‘Replicas’ and found a way to bring it to life. He captured not only the futuristic vibes but kept it simple and yet, still tied in the mystery of, ‘could this all be some kind of matrix at play.’ We had a blast shooting the video with him and his team, and we look forward to working with them again soon!”
De muziek van BT omvat diverse genres en haalt de inspiratie uit de muziek van Breaking Benjamin, Bring Me the Horizon, Starset, Papa Roach, Slipknot, and Avenged Sevenfold.

Breathe Atlantis
De alternatieve metalcoreband Breathe Atlantis laat ook weer van zich horen met de nieuwe single Savior waarop Eddie Berg van Immenence te horen is.
“It’s always a war with yourself. Savior deliberately has no happy ending because reality is just not a Hollywood movie. We all wish to be needed by others and to help others with their problems. But we must finally start to help ourselves first and accept our own struggles. Otherwise we will fall by the wayside in this selfish world.” , zegt voorman Nico Schiesewitz.
“Eddie and I have a close friendship that goes beyond musical interests. He has family status; we talk on the phone regularly and visit each other from time to time. Making a song together was an incredible experience for all of us and broadened our creative horizons. The Swedish melancholy was just the right setting to process our emotions in the song.”, voegt Jan Euler (gitaar) eraan toe.
Voor Eddie Berg was het een nieuwe ervaring om met Breathe Atlantis te werken: “Over the years, Jan has become one of my closest and dearest friends, so when asked it only felt right to work on this song together with him and the band. It brings up an important subject that a lot of us are struggling with; the difficulty of learning how to love ourselves in the first place, before we can help others.
I think that BREATHE ATLANTIS has come a long way in their song writing and vision and I’m excited on their behalf of what is to come.”
